Miraj

Miraj · coming soon

Consistency, witnessed.

A sacred check-in with the few who keep you close to your deen.

An invite-only launch. No waitlist yet.

The Moment

One window. Once a day.

When the window opens, you have a few minutes. Step away from the screen, set your niyyah, take the photo. Front and back, just like the world knows it — but grounded in intention.

Your circle sees it. Nobody else. Ever.

Posted late? That’s still posted. Consistency is the journey, not the streak.

Your Circle

Small, private, and yours.

Private by default.

No public profiles. No discovery. Nothing you post ever leaves your circle.

Small by design.

A circle is five or six people who already know you. Accountability from the few, not likes from the many.

Gender-aware.

Circles are brothers-only, sisters-only, or mixed — set at creation. Modesty stays structural, not a toggle.

Habits that Hold

Built around your niyyah, not your streak.

Set an intention. A 28-day roadmap forms around it — reviewed weekly, refined gently. No punishment for slipping.

The Noor Bead fills with your presence, not your perfection. Consistency over streaks. Journey over outcome.

Your streak can break. Your intention doesn’t.

What It Isn’t

What this app is not.

  • No public feed.
  • No followers.
  • No leaderboards.

Questions

Before you ask.

Is it free?

For now, yes — the app is free during the invite-only launch. We may introduce a small subscription for expanded features later (more than one circle, larger groups, deeper AI roadmaps). The core check-in loop will always be free.

What is a circle?

A private group of five or six people who already know each other — your family, your mosque friends, your dorm-mates. You only see what your circle shares. Nothing leaves it.

Do I need Muslim friends on the app?

Yes. This is an accountability tool, not a discovery app. You invite people you trust. If nobody in your life is on it yet, you can start a circle of two and grow from there.

How is this different from BeReal?

Same daily-capture mechanic — one window, front + back camera, no filters. What is different is the context: the window is anchored to a prayer time, you can set a private niyyah before the photo, and the result is only ever visible to your small circle. No global feed, no followers.

Who sees my photos?

Only members of the circle you post into. No public feed. No search. No algorithmic discovery. We do not sell, scrape, or train on your photos. Posts expire on the timeline you choose.

What happens if I miss a day?

Nothing punishing. A streak may reset, but the app never calls it a "fail" — late posts are marked "posted late" and still count as presence. Consistency is the journey, not the streak.

Does it work across time zones and prayer methods?

Prayer windows use the Aladhan API with the Muslim World League method by default. You can adjust the method and location in settings. Circle-wide moments are anchored to the prayer time of each member locally.

When does it launch?

Invite-only launch first. There is no public waitlist yet — if you know someone already building a circle, ask them for an invite. A broader release will follow.
